The Canada Show

CanPromo2smaller

Come celebrate Canada with Mr. I & the Rainbow Singers. Bring the family, bring your friends, bring your neighbours, heck – bring the dog too! And most important, bring the kids. This highly entertaining and interactive show sings its way across Canada, coast to coast, east to west, with a visit up north as well. Children from the audience are invited up on stage during the show to hold the Canada flag, play special instruments to simulate the sound of the ocean of the ocean, play train whistles, display giant Canadian coins, and to shimmer about in colourful sheets to represent the fantastic northern lights. After a wild ride across the country the show ends with a special tribute to Canada as a peace-maker in the world today. Listen to the Canada CD to hear some of the songs.

Great fun at Schools too!

Mr. I and the Rainbow Singers perform an incredible CANADA SHOW. It all started years and years ago drawing from the vast knowledge of Canadian folk songs that I have compiled and used in my teaching over the years. And then every year one of my favourite concerts was the CANADA DAY concert. I felt a great sense of community when performing this show. Now it has developed into quite an entertaining, interactive family show and makes one laugh and cry, and feel very proud to be Canadian.
