Children begin by building a repertoire of musical experiences. The songs and rhymes learned at this level will be used to discover musical concepts in later years. The goal is to have a fun, positive exprience in a group setting. Comparitives such as fast/slow, loud/soft, and higher and lower pitches are the concepts covered at this level. Children are made aware of beat in music. Parents are invited to take part in the class, or they may sit out if the child is ready to stay on their own. Lots of singing. Lots of musical games. Lots of fun!
